Your lineup, per Muskat:

CF Fuld

SS Theriot

1B Lee

3B Ramirez

LF Soriano

RF Bradley

2B Baker

C Hill

P Wells

Fontenot must really be in Lou's doghouse. Baker two games in a row, both vs RHP.

That's the best 3-6 in baseball if all those guys are hitting close to their potential

I was just gonna type this before I saw your post. Wow. I would've thought Font would be getting the nightcap.

Definitely. The "if" is the problem.

Actually, three games in a row vs RHP for Baker counting yesterday's game against Thompson. I know Fontenot hasn't been very good, but still.

if you throw in a healthy, productive geo (aka the one from 2008) somewhere in there, and also take account of the fact that theriot is playing great right now, it really will make you hate your life. oh what could have been

Glad to see Lou not sit Soriano tonight. Hes showing some signs of life, and i really wish Lou would bat Bradley 2nd. Hes taking a crazy amount of walks right now. Hell with Theriot hitting pretty well lately, Id love a Theriot,Bradley, Lee, ARam, Soriano 1-5. Oh well we got alot of "grit" and "Spark" in the lineup tonight lets hope it gets us a W.

I should probably get ready to duck the barrage of tomatoes, but why start Fuld instead of giving Reed Johnson some playing time?

Because Reed sucks vs Rh pitching?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking.

Soriano

Fukudome

Although I don't want to give up on kfuk being the answer in the leadoff spot. He has provided a nice SPARK there, too.

Lou said after the game Lee and ARam WILL BE in the lineup tonight, but wouldnt reveal the rest of the lineup. And pretty cool thing of Z to do, he choose the day game so Wells could pitch on ESPN in front of a national audience. Z said he wanted everybody else to see how good he is.

Wow, that's an incredibly nice thing to do. Kudos to Z.

Of course the fact that he got to match up with Lohse instead of possibly being against Wainwright who is more likely to shut down the Cubs offense and hang Z with a tough luck loss probably didn't seem too bad either. But maybe I am just being cynical....
