May, you guys are right........ I look at the Cardinals roster and I seen a bunch of crap. Why in the bleep is Joe Thurston, Chris Duncan, Rick Ankiel, Todd Wellemeyer, and Brad Thompson on any major league roster?

 

I thought we didn't allow Cardinal fans here?

if ARam's shoulder is still real messed up and he can't hit, we're pretty boned, because that'll be two infield positions with bad production, plus all the other guys injured or unproductive. at this point i'm kinda just hoping that he has surgery in the offseason and doesn't have lingering long-term effects.

Honestly, I think the Cubs have a better roster from top to bottom and am surprise that they hadn't run away with this division yet

Yeah, in the Rammy injury thread, I advocated Rammy going under the knife in-season right now to get fixed. I am losing hope for '09 & I would rather have Rammy possibly healthy for a run in '10. Yes, I know, the Central sucks & the Cubs could win it... I just don't like our chances

EPatt has been destroying the ball in AAA with the A's. It would have been nice to have him to plug in at 2B/3B this year
