CUBS are 23-10 when they score first in the game.... 14-28 when they don't

How about that....our leadoff hitter drew a walk!

 

OK, let's be realistic here. As crappy as Soriano has been for a while now he's already got 26 walks this year. He's only gotten more than 35 walks a season 3 times in his career, so he's on pace to draw almost as many walks as he did with that career 2006.

No, he simply worked the pitcher I believe 9 or 10 pitches and got on base to get the inning going. Good at bats are contagious, and Soriano has terrible AB's at the top of the lineup.
