so did Cott's get taken out and shot after his dreadful June 24 appearance? looks like he hasn't pitched since (after a good run leading up to that).

Chris Carpenter's Daytona debut has been delayed by rain.

Interesting choice of day to ask about this. Apparently Cotts had TJ surgery today and will miss the rest of the season and part of next:

Yes, that was his debut for Daytona.

 

Jung gives up a bloop hit but also a strikeout and two groundouts in the first.

carpenter may have been a fantastic third round steal.

 

I loved the picks of him and Schafer. Two boom-or-bust players... one of each result, early indications are...
