DeRosa's now 0-5. I'm holding out hope he becomes our mole, i.e. Miles

I'm with you, but any ABs against Lincecum should be stricken from the record.

LOL a grand-slam for Casey McGehee. I really want to see what Aaron Miles could do in a Brewers uniform.

I wonder what it must be like to have random no name scrub come to your team and play way over their head.

i'm hoping that the brewers think he's good and keep giving him lots of playing time.

Did Riot just hit his 7th HR or his 8th?

I'd take 2008 1 HR Theriot over 2009 7+ HR Theriot

Agreed. I don't think I saw 1 good AB from Casey last season (and he had plenty of shots in September).

At least the Cubs, after all the drama yesterday, look like an actual professional baseball team.

You mean the guy who batted 300-something and didn't K much? Yea, me too.

He basically has the same OPS this season as he did last season. Actually, it's a couple points higher this season.

Yeah but I'd rather his OPS be OBP-heavy than SLG-heavy. We need guys like him getting on base, not cranking HRs.

For some reason today I don't have that same feeling of fear I usually have when Gregg is trying to close out a game. Perhaps has something to do with the team we're playing.

slg at the expense of obp

Then does that mean you can strike any an all at-bats DeRosa had while facing crappy pitchers, too?

At first I read that as "sig" instead of "slg."

Then I realized that, coming from you, it still fits.

I agree I would rather have Theriot, who will most likely be batting 2nd the rest of the season, having a OBP strong OPS and not a SLG strong OPS. Theriot's OBP is what .335 right now? I would much prefer he went back to his slap hitting, going to RF, working the count ways and had a OBP around .370-.385 and SLG about .100ish points less.
