I haven't really seen anything encouraging from Bradley since the season started. He takes quite a few pitches, but it certainly isn't resulting in much of anything resembling offensive production.

CUBS are 26-20 when they don't allow any first inning runs.... 8-15 when they do

CUBS are 21-10 when they score first in the game.... 13-25 when they don't

Go CUBS !!

Bradley has not driven in a run in over 2 weeks

He sucks.

H's starting to remind me a lot of Gary Matthews Jr, the Cub years.

except that he isn't nearly the fielder Sarge Jr. was.

It seems like a big difference compared to last year is our performance in the first inning. It's really frustrating that the top of our order is not producing against the opposing teams starting. Does anyone believe there is any chance that Alfonso can come out of his slump this year?

Last year the CUBS outscored their opponents in the 1st inning, 79-72. So far this year, the CUBS have outscored their opponents 39-37.
