Harden made his return last Saturday and got an L despite a solid performance.

That being said, todays win was all fine and dandy, but Id really like to string a few more together before I restore any kind of faith in this team. Cliff Lee isnt the ideal guy to do that against, but as we learned following the Brewers/Indians series, the Indians pen is beyond brutal. Even Aaron Miles and Andres Blanco could hit them.

In typical Cubs fashion, they'll hit Lee pretty well after making these other jackholes look like Cy Young Award winners over the past few weeks.

In typical Cubs fashion, they'll hit Lee pretty well after making these other jackholes look like Cy Young Award winners over the past few weeks.

Cubs win 8-2.

Everybody rejoices and gets inebriated because it's Friday and the Cubs won.

i'll be getting inebriated no matter what the cubs do...a win would just be icing on the cake.

Widely scattered storms across the area, 30-35% chance of rain in the afternoon, wind blowing straight out to center field at 10-20 mph. Temps in the mid 80s. Could be just what our offense needs !!!

Well, by golly, we had a tornado out here in Lake in the Hills at 9:06. Sirens went off, got very dark, and it's raining like hell. No indication that it touched down, but we're still under a warning, and they're talking about the possibility of golf ball sized hail. Fun, fun, fun !!
