destroyed the last bat, and then gives this one away. I love Milton I don't care what you guys say.

Funk yeah.

Nice night for Fontenot.

Maybe its because I don't watch any other teams consistently, but it seems the Cubs have an extremely high amount of "streaky" hitters this year: Soriano, Lee, Fontenot, Bradley

Milo H. the astros' radio announcer said Soto came in hitting his weight, but then said if he did that it would be a high average! I don't like Milo anymore.

A very nice night for Fontenot. And he's going to love what it's going to do for his numbers..I have him going from a .698 OPS to a .746 after the at-bats tonight. And his peripherals would suggest that he is even better than that. I'm happy overall with him.

You know you're hitting decently well when you leave 13 men on base and still manage to score 7 runs!

So Geo picks up 3 hits

I hated Milo 50 years ago when he was doing white sox games !! ,.... and he hasn't gotten any better !!!

I know I/most hated last year when Lou would put Marmol out there in meaningless games, but I wouldn't mind to see him out there tonight to try to figure his sht out.

Jake Fox can hit a little.

What the heck are we going to do with him? The guy just keeps hitting. We can't find room for Hoff to bat enough, let alone Fox. Not a bad problem, but a bit frustrating, especially since our corner OF spots are locked down for the next 2 years.

Hopefully when everyone comes back, Scales is sent down and I guess Blanco down as well. Freel will be DFAd, no? That would leave 13 position players as follows:

Soto, Hill, Ramirez, Theriot, Fontenot, Lee, Miles, Soriano, Johnson, Fukudome, Bradley, Fox, Hoffpauir

Although I'm sure we'll never be 100% healthy, so that will mix and match.
