Steve with his stones hanging out is a bit much.

 

I wager there'll be a delay to start and at least one delay somewhere during play, but play they do.

Got to love Lou throwing all the lefties in the lineup tonight, even though Snell has reverse splits this year. Rightys hitting a .900OPS while lefties are at .775OPS.

Every other year though has been opposite. I would rather trust those rather than the splits from 9 starts where the only difference is a couple more extra base hits.

 

Besides, I don't think he was trying to get the left-handers in specifically. He did put Freel at 3rd when he could have gotten either Miles or Scales in who both bat left-handed.

 

What other right-hander would you want in there? I'd rather sit Soto tonight than tomorrow. Lee is still ill, and I'm not playing Johnson over any of the 3 OF's tonight.

Yea the options suck right now and its ridiculous. Scales is unavailable again tonight as hes sicker than he was last night, and Lee is better but not 100%. It seems like we have played with a short bench every game this year.

From the sound of Lou's pre-game comments playing right now on CSN, it sounds like whenever Harden comes off the DL Cotts will be out and Marshall will be in the pen. I'd rather just keep Marshall in the rotation, but whatever. He had better be a full inning reliever though and not some LOOGY.
