I really wish Miles would have took a couple of pitches.

I really wish Miles would have taken a plane back to St. Louis.

I don't blame Aaron at all. Jim's the ftard that signed him.

I still can't figure out this offseason. It's like the good Jim Hendry vanished and we were left with the architect of the 2006 team again.

Did Hendry make a good move this offseason?

I don't think he did at all. I guess dumping Marquis.

Did he lose a bet?

Na he was like, we won way too many games last year. Who are the two worst available big leaguers? Boom, Aaron Miles and Joey Gathright.

If the Cubs got a special dispensation & could choose between keeping Miles for the duration of his contract, or dropping him at the cost of only being allowed a 24-man roster...it's be at least a little tempting

At the time the Bradley signing was seen as a no-brainer by pretty much anyone. It's still very likely that that ends up being a very good signing.

Trading DeRosa for max value was a smart move. Whether he actually got max value is certainly up for debate.

Not signing Wood was, whether people like it or not, a good move. That's way too much to pay for a closer with that kind of injury history.

Gregg is obviously not the ideal person to have, but he's likely to be serviceable and he's also likely to net the Cubs 2 picks after this season.

Obviously nowhere near being the ideal offseason, but it wasn't the worst.

Fukudome's had a great season thus far.

Let's hope he can keep it up until the rest of his teammates get it in gear

I think a no hitter may be the best thing for this team. Call it a wake up call of sorts.

Scoring 2 runs in 3 games wasn't a wake-up call? I don't see any added benefit to getting no-hit.

In the last 36 innings the Cardinals have given up 2 runs. Where are all the smart guys saying how we shouldn't worry about them at all now?

Yeah, it might be more demoralizing than anything else
