Yahoo says we have one out, but I don't see an out in the play-by-play. Where did we get an out?

Man I hate Tejada not, only are the Cubs the only team he hits, he acts like he's just had the WS winning hit with every one.

Fox looked awful tonight, and long term doesn't look like the answer at all, unless the question is "How can the Cubs bullpen get even worse?", but geez give the guy more than one game to prove he belongs. Just don't put him in during close games.

..... and I won't have to put up with Milo Hamilton for another month !!!

I hate Milo Hamilton almost as much as I hate Kroger Foods !!!

I knew it was ridiculous to call up Fox. The guy's done. The sooner Lou and Hendry realize this, the better.

Another win though with Soriano having another great game. Pretty good day.

For all the panic and worry we saw here about 10 days ago, the Cubs now have the 3rd best record in the NL, and the 6th best record in baseball and are on pace for a 93-69 season.

Pretty apparent Fox hasn't gotten any better since last year, I wouldn't be opposed to bringing up Ascanio, Stevens, or even giving Hart one last chance. Edited by Cubswin11

With a +6 run differential so far they're not a 90 win team.

This game was full of reasons for optimism. Soriano producing early and often has been great to see so far this season. It's also good to see Aram back in middle of the lineup and producing again - hopefully that last tweak is completely behind him now. I'm really liking Lilly so far too. If the core of this team stays healthy and produces like they're supposed to, then Hendry's failure of an off-season may not be able to hurt the Cubs very much.

I wouldn't look at run differential until at least 50 games into the season. That's just me though. Besides, 7 games ago, the differential was -7. So in a 7 game span we've outscored our opponents by 13 runs.

The offseason will start looking less like a failure when the main guy they made the moves for starts hitting.

2007 Arizona Diamondbacks:

Run differential: -20

Pythag W-L: 79-83

Actual W-L: 90-72
