Pete Carroll is using song titles to hint at who the Seahawks will select with their 2 picks tonight.

# "Freebird" by Lynyrd Skynyrd

# "Ring of fire" by Johnny Cash.

# "Today was a fairytale" by Taylor Swift.

# "Jeremy" by Pearl Jam.

# "Big Balls" by AC/DC.

# "Licking stick" by James Brown.

# "Superman's song" by Crash Test Dummies.

# "California love" by Tupac.

# "Smooth criminal" by Michael Jackson.

# "Jump around" by House of Pain.

# "Back door man" by the Doors.

# "Let the beat build" by Lil' Wayne.

# "Soul sacrifice" by Santana.

what a douche

I think it's kinda cool. I can't figure out the hints, though.

If Carolina was going to not have a pick on the first day of the draft, then they picked a good year to do it with Clausen and possibly Tate to watch for tonight. Can't wait to see what happens, because it seems like after the top 5 it's pretty wide open.

The Titans are reportedly negotiating a trade for Haynesworth. It sounds like they could work out a deal giving up their 3rd round pick for him. That'd be a steal and I'd love it.

The Charlotte Observer passes along draft "buzz" that the Redskins might offer Albert Haynesworth, LaRon Landry, and the No. 4 overall pick to the Rams in exchange for the No. 1 selection.

We have no idea if there's truth to this clear-cut rumor. It would have to interest St. Louis, though, particularly if the Skins threw in Jason Campbell with the Rams perhaps adding in a late-round pick. Haynesworth remains a difference-making pass rusher, and Landry is not without top-10 or 15 safety talent. St. Louis would also have to be high on Jimmy Clausen.

I don't know if this rumor has legs, but if this is a legit rumor St. Louis would be fools to not at least seriously consider this offer. You would get two players who help the defense right now, not to mention you could buy yourself at least 2-3 years to get yourself a QB with Campbell, and you can still draft for need at 4. Again I don't know if this has any legs to it, but St. Louis would be fools not to consider it.

Gosselin's last mock. His is usually the most accurate of the mocks.

Link

Some key points.

He has Clausen sliding all the way to the Vikings. Dex Bryant falls the the Cowboys. Buffalo taking Dan Williams. Demaryius Thomas going to the Dolphins.

He has a lot of stretches in that draft including Earl Thomas down to #22. I can't imagine Bryant being the 2nd WR taken, but I would love it.

Nobody thought that Crabtree and Maclin would be the 2nd and 3rd WRs taken last year but Al Davis made it happen.

Very true, but none of these recievers are crazy fast :-).

Who would the Skins want at #1? Bradford? Or maybe Suh, since Haynesworth would be in the deal?

That's who I'm thinking if this trade were to happen, and then I would assume St. Louis would or could take Clausen at 4, or one of the tackles.

It all depends on the teams and what else falls. From what I have read some are very high on Dez and have him in the top 10 but a good amount of teams really don't like his work ethic and attitude and thus have him not even in the top 30. It all depends on what the first team who has nothing fall to them that they want more than WR thinks.

I've heard the Redskins want Bradford if they trade up. If they don't, Berry's name is being said more and more regarding Washington.

Couple of Adam Schefter tweets:

Teams to monitor that are interested in moving up in the draft: Giants, Titans, Packers, Steelers, Eagles, Chargers.

Teams to monitor that are interested in moving back in the draft: Redskins, Jaguars, Broncos, Dolphins.

Heard on the radio as well that ESPN's Michael Smith is twittering that the Browns are willing to give their entire draft for the #1 pick.

I can't wait for the Raiders to [expletive] up their first round draft pick once again.

At least they can't mess it up as badly as the Rams just did.
