Now that the initial excitement of the season starting is over, I am noticing these games are much less life and death for me than last year. If the Reds tie it up, I'm like "meh", if the Cubs take the lead I'm like "cool". Anyone else feeling that way.

It's still really early in the season. I know every game is as important as the next, but they always feel more important in the later part of the season. Let's see how you feel when the games are in August or September. :)

I'm way more laid back then I've been in my life this year. I think it has something to do with the fact that I think we are really good and the sweep last year.

i'm a lot more than "meh" when the cubs give up a lead, but i expect this team to win every game so when they take the lead (at least before the 7th inning) i'm basically just like "cool"

If we can pull a 2008 Angels, we won't need to worry about that.

I think Cubs fans in general, and us especially, have a 'it doesn't matter till the playoffs' attitude about this season. I wrote an article about this for the site, actually.
