I still remember in 2004, during a Cubs/Marlins series, Miguel Cabrera, who was playing LF at the time, had a fly ball hit his way but clearly out of play. When the ball came down, Cabrera leaped up high for the ball, pretending that he had a real shot at it. Then when he landed, he threw his glove towards the ground, perfectly mimicing Alou the year before. What an ass.

I know Owings is a pretty good hitting pitcher, but Len and Bob need to stop selling him like hes Albert freaking Pujols.

Career OPS

Owings: .919

Pujols: 1.049

Howry a Horseman of the Crapocalypse? He was only bad for 1/3 years.

Yeah but last year was so bad, it erases the 2 prior years. Also, he was ok in 2007, but not worth the money he was getting.

I'm willing to say that just based on the last 2 weeks, Aaron Miles deserves that 4th slot more than Howry. And where's Macias in there?
