Last time I tried to do this my deposition got cancelled and I had to sell my Cubs playoff ticket. But here I go again.

Work is taking me to Chicago on Tuesday. Going to try to find a ticket to Game 3. Have to.

I know it's probably asking a bit much but, could Khabi direct those rebounds to the left or right instead of the middle? Maybe, it's not possible with every rebound but, an awful lot his seem to go towards the middle of the Hawks' zone.

It probably is asking a bit much. But it isn't asking much to have defensemen who actually stay in position. And when that rebound comes out into the slot, it would be nice if said defensemen would clear the puck.

I was pretty happy with Pahlsson the last few games of the Calgary series. Now I want Wiz back again.

I may no longer be able to use Yahoo.com for my box scores, because it seems to think Kane was a -3 tonight with two goals, and I don't think that's possible with a PP goal and an EN in a 5-3 game.

Why isn't it possible (and ESPN's box score has him at -3 as well)? All that means is that he was on the ice for all five Vancouver goals. I know it's not too likely, but it's still possible.

Unless they've changed the way the stat is calculated, you are not debited for goals while penalty-killing or empty-netters.

Empty-netters count. Kane's PP goal does not count. Vancouver had 4 even strenght goals, Hawks had 2, of which Kane was on the ice for only 1. Kane was definitely on the ice for the last 2 even strength goals.

That makes sense. I wasn't sure if there was more to the +/- than just if you're on the ice for certain goals.

Getting too excited for this one as I'm trying to study...

If we can steal one in VAN I will be ecstatic... I think the Hawks can do this in 6 but it isn't going to be easy... here are my 3 keys:

1) Aggravate Luongo... in fact, send Buff hard to the net again... keep it in the back of Luongo's mind and try to piss off his teammates the same way he did when the line brawl happened. That being said, don't piss him off so bad that he goes into invincible mode... just knock him off his game early in the series.

2) Kaner - If Kane plays like he did in game 6 against the Flames and gets support from his linemates he is going to be huge in this series. I honestly see Kane as the catalyst this series... if he turns it around and plays well, so is everyone else.

3) Mr. Bulin - Keep up the good work and don't go down so early when the Sedins are coming!

Well 1 of them happened.

Kane was awesome in game 1 aside from the 4 minute high stick penalty.

He REALLY could be the catalyst if he plays well offensively like he did on Thursday.

I bet he gets another one tonight.

I may not be the biggest fan of Canada or Canadian hockey fans... but they sure know how to handle an anthem:

That's from game 1. You can also hear the like 5 Blackhawks fans scream during "aaaaand the rockets red glaaaaare".

The Blackhawks need this one. Going back to Chicago 1-1 would be huge. I think if this happens the Blackhawks go back to BC 3-1.

Good job you idiot Swede!

Back half of our D = exposed by the Canucks.

Yea... oh here comes another PP goal for the Nucks.

Canucks are just outmatching the Hawks...

[expletive]. Back in the day you had to murder someone to get a 5-on-3 in the playoffs. What a crock of [expletive].
