Holy crap this game is all kinds of mean... this one might be more physical than the Flyers/Pens earlier.

i didnt see the opening minutes today, but the canucks got away with a cheap shot at the end of their 3-0 victory friday. i expected the blues to come out angry.

Somebody definitely pissed in the Blues' Cheerios this morning, especially Walt and Winchester. And Crombeen. And, of course, Janssen. I don't think Hinote was hurt, but either way subbing in Janssen for him was brilliant by Murray. They needed that energy, and Janssen really fires up the crowd.

 

Good first period. Could've been great if the PP wasn't so inept.

If that wasn't evened out, that's ridiculous. Nearly all of these scrums need to end up evened out. I understand the refs are trying to actually punish the guys (and their teams) for this [expletive], but it's not fair to single out one guy and penalize one team when they are all involved.

The officiating is bad, but it's the playoffs. The enforcers need to realize there job changes in the playoffs. They can't take stupid penalties. Make big hits, but don't instigate scrums like that.

I don't know how to spell his last name, but he has been TERRIBLE tonight on the PP. Several muffed passes at the line. In a town where Chris Pronger didn't let any clearing attempt pass him by, that stuff doesn't fly.
