So I guess Miles will be double switched in and it will be him, Soriano, Kosuke?

 

Not liking our chances

 

Koyie Hill still has to bat.

 

What are the chances Geo can pinch hit and hope we can end it in the bottom half?

If Lou feels he must use a lefthanded bat I would almost prefer he pinch hit Gathright and have him try to bunt for a hit than have Miles pinch hit and try to do anything. Edited by Cubswin11

He can pitch hit but who will catch if it goes to the bottom of the 9th?

I agree. Let Gath drag bunt and take his chances with his speed.

That's why I said hope that we just play the bottom of the ninth. I don't know if his shoulder is strong enough for even one inning, though.

I should mention, though, that Hoff is by far our best PH option, but if the choice is Miles or Gath . . .
