Tango Tiger is either living up to his namesake or he has a lot of family building Fords. Detroit's pitching staff has WAY too many question marks to warrant that kind of projection.

I'm not that sold on the Yankees, either.

My gripe isn't about the Indians, it's how much the Twins (and to a lesser extent, Chicago) are being discounted. That division is up for grabs.

TT explained that their methodology has difficulty in projecting younger players contributions, which would explain why Detroit is so grossly overrated.

that may also explain why KC is so low. not that they're likely to win it, but i think BP's projection put them at around 10% to win the division. with the amount of young talent on that team, and every team in the division having some significant flaws, i think 10% sounds more reasonable than 1%.

Yeah, but still, this season, it doesn't seem so bleak.

Finally seems like there's some hope. In the future.

It should probably be pointed out that it was actually a group of the Pirates' prospects that lost, not the major leaguers.

ARGH!

Beaten by the hated manatees!

We'll have our revenge next year!!!

Several of my friends from high school graduated from the prestigious grounds at Manatee Community College. I actually took a summer film class there my first summer back home when I was a freshman.

Oh, and they're the Lancers, by the way. Manatee is the name of the county. And don't talk bad about MCC, Derek Lee attended that school in 1987................

Maybe this isn't quite as embarrasing as the Pirates' prospects losing to a community college team, but the Reds lost tonight to their AA team.

that's because dusty baker isn't managing their AA affiliate.
