The Nate McLouth video that comes on afterwards, when he says "I'm Nate McLouth and I'm a Pirate" at the end, he looks really sad/frustrated to be on the team

That's an opening day promotion? It's going to be a tough year if they need to pull that stuff out that early.

 

You're talking about a team that couldn't sell out playoff games even when they were good.

It shows they spend as little on their marketing department as they do on their roster.

 

He should have compared an expensive hot dog to the cheap one, and then thrown the expensive one over his shoulder. Just like Vince.

 

Either that, or show how the hot dog bun picks up stains.

Actually, opening day is essentially sold out. Best available online is $8 standing room only. This is for the 2nd game, which is opening night. The vast majority of teams have severe dropoff in attendance from opening day to the 2nd game. The weather sucks and nobody cares about the game. And $1 seats are in the extreme corners of the upper deck.

However it is the birthplace of Barq's Root Beer, which I feel singlehandedly makes up for my home state's past history of injustices committed upon various and sundry ethnic minorities.
