I guess all that matters is that I now know that a guy who has a high 4's ERA over a 5 year span is a very good pitcher, as long as his peripherals looks pretty.

depends on when they want to start his arbitration clock and/or when an MLB OF gets hurt.

Seems like Choo and Sizemore are locks, so it'll take a bad Ben Francisco to get LaPorta up (unless they want to DH him or Hafner gets hurt again). I doubt they'd bring him up to sit on the bench
