I just bought a graphics card so hopefully I won't run into the same problems already mentioned.

 

What do you like about it so far?

The idea that I need a non-integrated graphics card just to run a baseball management sim makes me suspect they may have put their money and efforts into the wrong parts of the game.

I bought it yesterday, and I think that review was kind. After I gave up on it last night I tried to play it again today, and I think I'm done with it for good.

 

It would take me an hour to list all of the terrible and frustrating aspects of this game.

I checked the Sports Mogul site and 2006 Baseball Mogul is apparently free. Worth it? I've only played the 2008 version and I don't have it anymore.

If you need a fix, then yeah. You'll just miss out on any players who showed up between then and now, and you get to toy with players who aren't as good now as they were then. I'm sure Derrek Lee is a god amongst men in that game. In 09 he's slightly above average.

 

It's free though, and that's always good. It will tide you over before 2010 comes out later this year

I was for the longest time, but then for no reason whatsoever my game crapped out on me an started lagging. Even after reinstalls and removed modifications the game just wouldn't work. I'm very upset about it too. The good news is I can always hock it for like $50 because it's so hard to find on the PC

Anybody know if they'll ever make MVP 05 backwards compatible to the 360? It's ridiculous it's not already. Optimist that I am, I'm still hanging on to it.

last i heard they weren't going to make any more xbox games backwards compatible.

I agree, but its been almost 4 years, we have to get over MVP. The Show is an awesome game and I've accepted it into my life after much trepidation.

GameSpot (or EB games or whatever it is now) has MVP 05 for the gamecube in one of those "bargain bins" for 10 bucks. I'll probably pick it up today regardless, but does anyone know how to update the rosters for the gamecube version?
