What's the over/under on Steeler's helmet to helmet hits?

That hit last night McGahee was not a helmet hit. Though the Steeler's give out a lot of cheap hits that was a hard hit that looked like it could have been helmet to helmet, but Clark led with his shoulder

If he led with his shoulder how come his head made the first contact

because McGahee lowered his head at the last second. McGahee's helmet hit the side of the Steeler player's helmet. I don't think it was intended to be a dirty hit

McGahee lowered his helmet Clark put his shoulder down to hit him and then McGahee made contact with the side of his helmet which was no his intention.

Boldin stomping off because he didn't get enough balls his way. But seriously, you are hurt and Fitzgerald is playing his butt off. This is the type of guy that would rather lose and get 100 yards and 2 TDs than be part of a Super Bowl team.

No question in my mind that he's going to be a Giant next year. Have fun dealing with that media if you do things like this, Anquan.

I'd like Boldin on the Bears.

I'm not too familiar with Boldin, but is he a speed guy or only a run-after-the-catch guy. The Bears need someone who can stretch the field.

Run after the catch guy.

Never going to happen. He's going to the Giants, bank on it.

They're apparently strongly considering bringing Plaxico back. If they do, I doubt they bring in another extremely high paid WR - especially since they'll still have Toomer, Hixson, Steve Smith and Sinorice Moss.

I could see the Cowboys cutting TO and going after Boldin. Is he going to be a FA?

Boldin's got a deal until 2012, I believe.

i'm wondering if the eagles will actually go after a #1 wide receiver after watching yet another #1 tear them a new one on sunday. to be fair, they really tried hard to get randy moss and larry fitzgerald last offseason.

FWIW, I thought I heard Coughlin say they weren't bringing him back. In any case, there's a good chance he's in jail when next season starts. Finally, Toomer is old and the other guys aren't making very much. They can afford to bring him in if they want to.

The last news I saw was that they would consider bringing him back if he's not in jail.

And I listed the rest of the guys as depth more than anything. They're fine at WR if they still have Burress. Without him, they definitely need Boldin.

The Steelers are not getting a lot of love in this thread. The Cards are a great story and I am a big Fitz fan, but I think the story book doesn't get its happy ending. LeBeau will figure out a way to contain their offense enough to win, as long as our O doesn't turn it over. If you play this game ten times, I think Pittsburgh wins seven of them.

As for Ryan Clark, he plays extremely aggressively but within the rules. If McGahee doesn't duck down, their helmets never touch. I also take issue that the Steelers are a dirty team. Football is a violent game and the Steelers play violently between the whistles.

i'll be spending this first half of this one like i spend most super bowls - coaching special olympics swimming. the only time i actually gave enough of a crap to watch the whole game was when the eagles played the patriots. usually i find a super bowl party to watch the second half, though, since practice is over by 8.

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but I think it's funny that the starting quarterback of one Super Bowl team is older than the coach of the opposing team.
