Well since the Cowboys have so many problems entering their bye week, Wade Phillips has decided that we need to practice twice this week

I don't completely disagree with it with the amount of injuries. However its a good week to get Bollinger some snaps with Romo hopefully getting all of them next week.

Huge two game stretch for the Packers these next two weeks. If we win both of them, we should be alone in first place in the North. I also happen to think that if we win these two games that we should cruise to the division title.

It all starts this week with Minnesota. We've had a pretty good mark at the Dome the last few years and I really think that they're one of the worst 4-4 teams in quite some time. There's no reason why they shouldn't be 2-6 right now. That being said, I know the Vikings are going to come out to play against us. Everytime we play each other, it's a close, hard-fought game. If we can establish any kind of run game on Sunday, I really like our chances.

I'm not too optimistic. The Vikings will be gunning for us and it's at that stupid dome. Any QB they have has to be better than T. Jack right?

It's Gus Frerotte. I'd call it a push. At least Jackson can make plays with his legs.

There were a lot of positives to take away from yesterday's game, even though we didn't win. Besides the big play to Big Mac White, we did a really good job stopping the run. The Vikings are very similar to the Titans on offense where they have two explosive backs and a "game-manager"/bad QB. Rodgers did have those couple mistakes, but there's no question that our passing attack presented a problem to one of the best defenses in the NFL yesterday. And our running game appears to getting back on track as Grant ran for about 4.5 YPC. Don't forget that this was around the time last year when we finally got our running game going.

It'll be close, but I'm optimistic. Something like a 24-21 score sounds about right.

I am going to be pissed if we lose to JaMarcus Russell. That said our defense has been pretty good lately except for Kurt Warner last week, but Warner owns us so that's understandable. The Panthers should win by a couple scores.

And I'll be at B-Dubs Thursday night to watch Brady Quinn against a horrible Denver defense.

The Panthers will have no trouble with the Raiders. The Raiders are god-awful.

Huge game this week for the Falcons

I was very worried about this game previously when Kyle Orton was still healthy, but now that it's Grossman starting, I feel better.

Grossman presents a different type of challenge than Orton. With Orton in there, the chances of a big play lessened greatly, but the chances of us forcing turnovers also were down quite a bit. With Grossman, I'm more worried about him beating us deep, but if the line can get pressure on him, he's far more likely to make a major mistake than is Orton.

That said, the Bear offensive line has some age on it and I think Haynesworth, Kearse and KVB especially can beat them around the edges and (in Albert's case) run over them. I think we'll get good pressure and force Grossman into the bad version of himself.

Offensively, we just need to take whatever a good Bear defense gives us. If they try to stop the run, we've shown we can move the ball adequately with the short passes. If they allow LenDale and CJ to run, let them run.

I can't shake the feeling that we're going to lose eventually before the regular season ends (I've said repeatedly this team is not 8-0 good - close, but not quite). I don't think it will be this week, but it very well could.

you "can't shake the feeling" that you're not going to go 16-0? wow, step off that ledge man.

What can I say, this team inspires confidence. :D

It's actually very legitimate that we could go 14-0 if we win the next two weeks. We have Chicago this week and the Jags the week after. Both could be losses, but we can certainly win both.

After that, we have the Jets, Lions, Browns and Texans all in a row. It would be a pretty major upset if any of those teams beat us (though Favre's deep passing worries me a bit). Not saying none of them can or will, but we'll be fairly clear favorites in each of those.

After that, we have Pittsburgh and Indy left. Either could easily hand us a loss.

4 teams in the league have fewer than 3 losses, including whoever loses the Monday night game.

And before the season, who would have thought two of those teams would be the Titans and Panthers?

The teams are: Tennessee (8-0), NY Giants (7-1), Carolina (6-2), Washington/Pittsburgh (7-2/6-2).

Here's to kicking your team's face in, Dew

I'll be predicting the Titans to cover

I'm just glad Rex is starting for ya'll, ballhawking defenders love unsettled QBs. :D

And what's the line on the Titans/Bears game? I haven't seen it yet.

You forgot about Panthers/Raiders.

Oh wait, you said good games.

Miami has their second chance to move above .500 this season, and the 2-6 Seahawks are as good an opponent to try that agains as any. Of course, last time it was the 0-4 Texans...Seattle's worse, though.

Well, for Panthers fans at least.

He could be one of many.

According to the Raiders' beat writer from the Sac Bee, there could be as many as 15 players that could be gone soon, including Tommy Kelly (signed a seven-year, $50.5M deal with $18.125M in guarantees before the season) and Javon Walker (six-year, $55M deal with $16M guarantees).

What a joke.

According to the San Jose Mercury News, Jim Harbaugh is "by far" the favorite to be the Raiders' next head coach.

Harbaugh, the old Colts and Bears QB, is currently head coach at Stanford. Reporter Tim Kawakami writes that "Harbaugh loves Al (Davis)," which could make it a marriage even if he knows Oakland is a graveyard. Harbaugh took over at Stanford in 2007, leading the Cardinal to a 4-8 record. They are currently 5-4 and coming off a 58-0 blowout win over Washington State.

Please don't do it, Jim. You're better than this.

Al David should have his own reality show on tv.

Oh, I can also totally seeing Jacksonville being the first team to lose to Detroit this year. They're going to mail it in.

I figured after losing to two of the worst teams in the NFL by a total of 4 points there no way. Or at least I'm hoping.
