In a regular points league. What are your guys' thoughts on dropping Torry Holt for Donnie Avery? I've also got Dante Hall, but return yards cound and he consistently produces more points than the shell that is Torry Holt.

I would say that seems to be the popular move. At this point, you're not really taking much risk dropping Torry Holt, so why not.

Can you pick up Avery w/o dropping Holt? I would probably hang on to Holt in case the Rams decide to start getting him the ball, which you figure they would eventually unless his skills have diminished that much.

I agree with RAW. I wouldn't give up on Holt just yet.

A problem with that is, I don't want to have 3 Rams WRs on my roster. I also have Berrian and Curtis who I just picked up. I suppose Curtis could be an option but I'm thinking he has more upside in that offense if he can get up to speed. Basically, you can come back from injury, you cannot come back from old.

Do it. Holt is done. The timing they used to have is gone and he's nothing more than a slot receiver any more who's afraid to go over the middle. If Bulger will stand in there and actually throw the ball, Avery is a big time home run hitter who will continue to get big plays. He's probably not gonna catch more than 4-5 per game but they might each be 25 yard completions.

This is wise. Fantasy teams are a little like playing the stock market...putting all of your eggs in one basket is a lot riskier than diversifying. I don't like starting too many guys from the same team, because if that team lays an egg that week, it kills my fantasy team.

I have one fantasy team where I have Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne, and Marvin Harrison on the same team. In past years that combination was gold. This year, however, I've learned not to start them all at the same time. Maybe soon I'll learn not to start any of them.

I've got Dallas Clark, the guy I played last week has Wayne, Harrison, and Addai.

Wait. Why would you have 3 Rams receivers? Who's the 3rd? If you have any other Ram that is not Torry Holt or Steven Jackson, cut him.

I hope you meant 2.

Avery has looked like a legitimate fantasy receiver over the last few weeks. He's been getting picked up in alot of fantasy leagues.

Well the 3rd is kind of a WR. Dante Hall, Return yards count. Rams D is awful so he gets a lot of opportunities and there's a bonus at 100 ret yds so he's typically a good play.

I went ahead and dropped Holt, sorry Raw I listened to the others' advice. There's still the option of picking him back up after Sunday if they do start getting him the ball this weekend.
