portland, utah and san antonio have only one franchise in the major sports leagues, and they all draw well and have loyal followings. memphis, on the other hand, is a terrible franchise and draws poorly. if a bunch of white mormons in the middle of nowhere can get behind the jazz then i don't see why oklahoma city can't be successful. i don't know for sure that they'll succeed but i certainly can't say that they'll fail.

i was just giving him a hard time for being from oklahoma. i hope they fail, though, because i want fond du lac to get a pro basketball team and i think we have a better chance.

if a total crap town like Green Bay can support an NFL team, pretty much any town USA could support a team (theoretically)

what terrifies me is that we're sort of getting a st. louis-like "best fans in basketball" thing going on where all the fans call in and talk about how great the crowd was every night and all the reporters ask the players about the home court advantage the fans give them after every game.

its not so bad now with no one paying attention to us, but with durant, westbrook, green, three first round picks and like 25 mil in cap room, we could theoretically be decent quick and it's going to be real lame to have everyone patting themselves on the back all the time.

Hahaha, Rudy Fernandez wins the dunk voting. Alexander or Westbrook would have been better choices.

Wait what? The only good thing Alexander can do is dunk and he doesn't get to show off those abilities?

Russ and Alexander would have been infinitely better choices.

hey raisin, russ is flipping out tonight. 21 in the first half, 16 in the second quarter, including a step-back 3 at the buzzer that answered a CJ Watson jumper. 72-68 thunder, at the HALF.

Nice game from Bynumite last night.

And Kobe's second triple double in three games. He's also had 10+ assists in four straight games and five of seven, and is averaging 28.1 points, 8 assists and 6.4 rebounds in January.

Russ is great, too bad he is wearing a biddy ball league type jersey there. Seriously those ones are nasty.

it's amazing how fast a player like westbrook drops off the radar after going to oklahoma city. i had forgotten that he existed at all and he's doing very well, i see. it's like notoriety just pulled a sam beckett and quantum leaped right out of his body.
