burress had one of my favorite plays of all time during his rookie year in a game against the jags. he made a nice catch over the middle and then was sort of stumbling after the catch, and fell down. he got up and spiked the ball - apparently still thinking he was in college. one of the jaguar defensive plays then picked the ball up and ran it back like 50 yards.

Brees played great, but wow, what a pathetic showing by San Diego's defense.

 

Norv and Cottrell should both get canned. Inexcusable.

 

I still think SD will make the playoffs, but their defensive philosophy is in need of a 180.
