Yeah but if Penn St wins, and they finish without a loss, they probably make it to the NC game. And they probably get blown out as well.

 

I'd love to see Texas or Florida go up against an actual defense this year

Actually with the week to week turnover in the bottom ten of the top 25, 22 is probably mediocre this year. It seems as if every week we have four or five Big East/Big Ten/ACC teams getting in the 17-25 range and then getting knocked off the next week by teams who are then ranked in the 17-25 range...who get knocked off the next week - rinse wash repeat.

 

In all honesty, mediocre might be a complement for this Tennessee team.

this PSU/OSU game will come down to who makes better adjustments at halftime. So far this season, PSU has done that better, often blowing open close games in the second half, where OSU has been in more nail biters than they should

I just can't see Penn St. staying on the same field with Texas or Florida.

this PSU/OSU game will come down to who makes better adjustments at halftime. So far this season, PSU has done that better, often blowing open close games in the second half, where OSU has been in more nail biters than they should

 

i'm worried about the line play. our d-line has been doing a great job against the run, but they haven't been getting much pressure on pryor when he drops back to throw. clark has been under a lot of pressure and has gotten away with a couple of dicey throws, and our run blocking has been pretty average.

As a USC fan, I'm going to need ND and Virginia to keep it up and help out our computer rankings.

 

I can't believe UVA is in the mix for the ACC title. They looked Washington State level awful the first few weeks of the season.

 

Just goes to show you how bad the ACC is.

its not impossible for Duke to be bowl-eligible. They are 4-3 with an OK schedule left. @ Wake, vs. NC State, at Clemson, at Virginia Tech, vs. UNC. I think they'll beat State, and they can sneak one of the other games out.

and to elaborate florida's offense has performed every bit as well as OU's and UTs without even adjusting for defenses played (ditto for PSU too)
