As I suspected, several players were upset with Ovie's antics a few days ago and weren't afraid to talk about it. I'm not sure why the article refers to Hinote and Boyes as Flames players, but whatever. I guess lazy reporting and editing lives in Canada too.

I liked Mike Green's quote, that there was no way he woud join in on that. He knew.

The Tampa guys will remember. The Avery thing is different because he's insane and you can't just take runs at him.

 

Yah, I really doubt the Tampa guys care. The only people who care are people like Don Cherry, and they don't matter much.

Good win for the Blues tonight to get within a point of the 8 spot. Hopefully this game will get Berglund going and out of his little slump. Plus Oshie layed out Brown at the end of the game.

 

brown really shouldn't be playing right now. his head is clearly in other places (his 2nd kid was born way premature and is having issues) and he's not playing very well because of it. i've seen him get knocked down/hammered more times in the last two weeks than i can remember in his career before this.

That hit was massive. And then Johnson came in and attacked Oshie for it, of course.

 

The Blues were awful in the first 40 minutes, but the Kings just couldn't get a bounce. Berglund crashed the net and good thing happened.

 

Big game here tomorrow night vs. Vancouver. For the sake of the Blues and the Hawks, let's go Blues!

Anaheim squashed Colorado last night. Wish we had some games left with them. And the Wild beat the Isles easily.

 

The Western Conference is not getting any clearer, but for St. Louis and Dallas, they need two points pretty much every game now.

Despite having three PPs, St. Louis got dominated in the first.

 

And wow, after falling down 2-0, Nashville has scored 3 unanswered in a hurry in the second. Nabokov's GAA is taking a hit the last few nights.

I'm watching the Blues and the Nashville-SJ game.

 

Oshie just tied it up with his submission for goal of the year. What a move he put on and amazing patience to get Luongo down.

Sucks for St. Louis that Nashville held on to beat the Sharks, but the Blues did their part and blitzed Vancouver 4-2. I'm starting to think maybe they can pull it off and sneak in.

As much as I love Versteeg, Mason is the clear ROY. Versteeg and Berglund can fight it out for second.
