I hate the Heat almost as much as I hate the Pistons.

I can never do that. I basically grew up hating the Pistons.

Oh, I hate the Pistons a lot more. The Heat have just done a lot to piss me off in the last few years.

I gotta agree with bcl. I hate the Pistons, but the Heat are our new rivals. We have playoff history with them, its not one sided, we have the #1-2 draft pick thing, we have countless cheapshots by the Heat everytime the Bulls blow them out, we have DWade from Chicago. It's a great rivalry that both sides are engaged in, and I hate losing to them.

Hahahahahah Gordon just blew on his fingers to "cool them down", awesome!

Not as cool as this.

I always have to stop myself after looking at links like that because I start looking for other great 90's NBA moments and it just makes me realized how I spoiled I was basically growing up as an NBA fan at that time.

My first real strong sports memory is the '93 finals and I just remember being so upset that it looked like the Bulls were going to lose game 6, that I stormed off missing Paxson's shot live :(

. . . And then the Bulls won 3 more championships. unreal.

at 9 years old the pax 3 was probably my earliest "big" sports moment too. that was so epic

It was the first time I'd ever watched the Bulls (my parents would watch the finals every night it was on and I would do it just because I liked sports and it was on.) My love for the Bulls began with this series.

Yeah, it's really not fair to have been a young Bulls fan for all that. There's nowhere to go but down with both the Bulls and the NBA itself. I started really paying attention to the Bulls in '89 when I was 10 thanks to my Dad and it was just off and running from there.

I definitely took it for granted when I was growing up. I thought it was so easy to win a title. In fact, I remember thinking that the Bulls would make the playoffs in 99 when the team was gutted and studs like Kukoc, Randy Brown and Corey Carr were leading the team.

Yeah, reality sucker punched me pretty hard. By 2001 I had mostly tuned out of following the NBA.

My first Bulls memory was the first round in 1989. :)

I moved to LA right when they were playing the Lakers in 1991. That was awesome.

There's really no way we are going to beat any of the top 3 seeds in the East, so hypothetically, it doesn't matter which of the 6-8 seeds we end up with. Still nice to see the Bulls playing really well.

Sooooo good.

Tesh just kills it with the intro music + the Costas voice-over. It just doesn't get any better.

That was a lot of fun to watch. The Miami defense was terrible, and that Rose-to-Thomas alley oop was amazing. They need to stop teasing me with plays like that

I said it before the yr, Rose to Thomas would be the EC version of Paul to Chandler. If T2 would get his crap together he can be so much better then Chandler.

Agreed.

So that being said, I want the 8 seed and Cleveland.

Reason being I want Rose to have to see what Lebron James does every night to take over games. Thats what Rose needs to learn.
