This honestly is must win.

No, it's not.

It's a win or face 3:1 odds to be gone.

With game two being pitched by a guy with an ERA that's gotta be over six for the past month.

I got actually physically ill today at work because of nerves. I'm good now, though.

Cubs had better win to calm some of my nerves. I can't shake this nagging little voice that tells me Demp is going to get lit up tomorrow.

I can hear it now....

"I just didn't have my best stuff tonight...." - That's the difference between winners and losers - the winners find a way to win even when they don't have their best stuff.

Absolutely pathetic - can't wait to listen to all my coworkers wise cracks and jokes tomorrow.

you do realize it's 4-2 in the 5th inning, right?

So how much do you want to bet that Lou left Dempster in there because it was the fifth and he wanted him to be able to get a win?

I'm thinking Lou wanted to save his bullpen, especially considering Z's recent troubles.

Yeah, we're in trouble right now.

I hate this team.

The bats have to at least show something in this half of the inning. I have a feeling that we'll know quickly whether or not we have a shot. Quite often when it is over, the guys go up hacking and end the inning quickly. If they stick to the gameplan, then I'll be hopeful.

Lou should have been out there talking to him around the time of the 5th walk. He waited FAR too long to get out there and settle him down.

Exactly what I was thinking too. Rothschild should have been out there after the first walk of the inning.

If Soriano's AB is any indication, we're screwed.
