Who do you think deserves to win the NL MVP award? Ryan Howard or Albert Pujols? I personally would give the award to Howard just to stick it to Pujols because of his complaining in 2006 that MVP's should only be on playoff teams. If you're going to complain about the system because you lose, then you should also lose because of that system you complained about. If I was a writer and had a vote, I would not vote for Pujols because of his comments

It doesn't matter what Pujols said. He's still been a lot better than Howard. If you vote for Howard, I really don't think you know much about baseball. Howard hasn't even been his own team's MVP.

Wait, why is Howard even being considered? He has a 34.6 VORP, that's good for 30th in the NL.

It's Pujols and it shouldn't even be close.

That's right. Pujols' BA is 19 points higher than Howard's OBP this year.

Howard sucked for three months out of the year and Pujols' OPS in his worst month (July) was the same as Howard's second best month (also July).

Tim Kurkjian said that if Howard were to win the MVP, he'd have the lowest batting average of any winner since the 1940's or thereabouts.
