Hmm, Sutcliff seems to think Jeff was tipping his pitches. The way they showed it, seems he was right. Hope someone tells him about that.

You think Sutt would tell Rothschild.

I thought Sut said Koyie Hill was the one tipping the pitches.

Actually, he said Hill was tipping Shark's pitches with the way he was setting up, not that Shark was tipping his pitches.

And now Edmonds has his "all night they told me how much this ump sucked, and I didn't believe them" story (strike 2) Edited by Careless

He said the way Hill was stepping indicated what pitch was coming but I'm not sure if Hill was just stepping the he was when he set up outside and a different way when he set up inside.

Ahhh my bad, I thought he was trying to say that the way Samardzija was setting up on the rubber was leading to the pitch being a breaking ball or not.

I have the local broadcast on, so I wouldn't know. The quoted statement indicated it was Shark whom was tipping pitches, not Hill.

It's really strange and ironic that we've basically beaten this team badly with our scrubbies. Except that one of our best pitchers -- of all guys -- gave up a bunch of walks and a granny so the game isn't over.

I love baseball. Except when I hate it. Except I can't stop loving it.

wth are you looking at Jim?

Balls 4 and 5?

he should have figured out the ump's strike zone by now

He's been reading Vogue all night and not paying attention to the game

I only hate baseball when it bangs my girlfriend. Then I'm all "Hey baseball, WTF man?". And he's all "whatever man".
