I am pretty certain that if the Cubs would have played the Astros in Arlington instead of Milwaukee, a majority of the fans would have been Cub fans. Almost positive, and Vance could back me on the number of Cub fans present for the Cubs/Rangers games last season.

I can't really think of any venues that would have produced more Astro fans than Cubbie fans. Sorry, just the way it is....

Here is what I think about what Houston writers who write on their blogs and their fans think about the Cubs and us fans...................

My favorite suggestion was that they play the games in Round Rock.

The playing field dimensions are 330 feet down the left field line, 325 feet down the right field line, 375 feet to both power alleys, and 407 feet to the deepest point in center field. The wall surrounding the outfield is eight feet high.

The terms "bandbox" and "launching pad" come immediately to mind.

I think part of the problem is a number of Astro fans really thought their team was as good as they've played the previous 3 weeks. Especially without Lee and Wigginton, the Astro offense is sketchy at best and the rotation is Oswalt and nil. The defense may have the fewest errors in the league, but they're only third in their own division in defensive efficiency (behind the Cubs and Brewers).

The Astros are much, much closer to a .500 team than how they played in August and early September.
