Is Votto considered a rookie this year? If so, his numbers aren't all that worse than Soto's. If had a huge September.....nah. I bet Soto's VORP and WARP are much better, even though writers won't use that argument.

Imagine what Sabathia's numbers would look like if he would play against the better teams in the league rather than constantly playing the bottom feeders. He always puts himself in situations that against these teams he is able to escape, but against more formidable foes, he would be unable to do so.

Soto's a catcher and Votto is a 1B. Writers do recognize that distinction, even if it's in the dumbest way.(crap like catcher's ERA.)

129 through 8.
