Why the hell do our postseason odds go down even when the phillies and brewers lose? down to 98.77% now.

Based on BP or ESPN's stuff?

I'd think that this late in the season, any day we go without losing ground should increase the odds.

Because every other team in baseball is playing better?

I won't be able to watch this game, as I will be watching a re-run of episode #1 of Fox's new hit series "Hole In The Wall", along with commercials, 5 times in succession.

If I had a dollar for every Cubs game I said I wouldnt watch, and ended up watching, Id be a rich man.

Me too. I said I won't watch tonight, but I will...

Let's get mad. We HAVE to break out of this. 1-6 in September is the exact opposite of what I thought we'd do. Two walk off losses should re-juvinate the guys...well let's hope so.

Go Cubs.

You got a guy named Jim Edmonds who did nothing but get one base twice last night, not to mention has 2 career homeruns against Looper, and in maybe the most important game of the year to date, Felix Pie is starting in CF.

Lou has lost it.

Pie going deep tonight.

AND stealing a base.

AND striking out twice.

If there was ever a time that Pie needs to get hot, it is right now. Lou is not the most patient guy in the world and a few hits for Pie will do wonders for his playing time.
