Record on CSN vs. WGN

I know the station that carries the game can't make any difference on the outcome, but how in the world are the Cubs 43-17 when CSN carries the game but only 30-29 when WGN carries the game? That's an absurd difference!

hadn't realized there were about 60 games each station. figured csn had played many more than wgn.

Unfortunately it's really tempered my enjoyment of the season. I, too, only have WGN, and I usually work during Cubs games, so I simply DVR them in hopes of watching the game later. Inevitably someone tells me the outcome of the game, and when it's a loss I obviously don't feel like watching the game any more. And when they lose so often on WGN, it makes me miss out on a lot of games. It seems like the last month has been exceptionally terrible on WGN, it's really inexplicable.

As with CubbieBum and Justin, I only get WGN, too. It's really annoying getting to watch almost all the losses and very few of the wins.

I only get WGN during the school year, and I've noticed the number of wins I get to see drop as well. I blame the change to WGN America for the difference in records.

But WGN is so awesome! Or at least, that's what their commercials want you to believe. I am getting quite sick of all the self-promotion during Cubs games.

It's completely random, and will even out over time. Last year.......

CUBS are 31-34 when CSN broadcasts the game

 

This makes the combined records for 2007-08 look like this...........
