shakes head, this is getting very worrisome

What is?

The fact that the clutch hitting has been terrible for over a week now. I don't really believe in clutch, but I believe in anti-clutch when a team is pressing and not handling the pressure well.

Forget clutch hitting, this is Randy Wolf!

Soriano, Lee, Ramirez, hello?

Ok, I gotta agree.

Hunter Pence is fantastically annoying.

When he gets on base, we have more shots of him in his perpetual deer-in-the-headlights look.

It has?

Love the exaggeration. Even if we were talking about clutch hitting, there were clutch hits last night, there was a clutch hit in the 2nd Philly game.. there was obviously clutch hitting in the first Philly game....

Perception >>> reality, I guess

I'd be willing to bet that their numbers w/RISP have been pretty bad over the last week or so.

It's not any single thing.

It's the extremely disturbing transition of our team from the best in the NL to the worst.

That's about as meaningless as "clutch" is. Especially over a week.

I'm looking at Reed Johnson and Ronny Cedeno from Saturday

Soriano on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday

and of couse, DLee last night as well.

Yes, how dare they not come through in every single situation somebody deems as clutch.

i'd rather have them playing like this in the first week of sept than the last week...this team will get it togather again before the end of the season

Unless you absolutely CRUSH it, you're not going yard to straight Center tonight.
