Geez, quit overreacting everyone. He hit the ball pretty hard, and is 2-4 today. It was an unlucky hit.

Is it so hard to find a pitch to drive in the air?

mmmmm, Bren mentioned Will Clark. Man, if we had Will Clark during his prime on this team instead of D.Lee.... :-)

Although I may as well say "If we had Jimmie Foxx during his prime..."

Pat made it sounds like Lee hit that DP ball hard. For those watching, can I at least take solace in that or was it the same old?

He definitely hit it hard.

Roast was just on TV

When? What look like?

He was the usher-type they showed on the field right when they came back from commercial. It was a close-up of just him for a few seconds. Hilarious.

Rewound and saw. Didn't know he did that. Pretty cool gig.

He made solid contact, it was just placed perfectly for Blum to glove it and make the throw to 2nd.

It was hit hard enough to be an easy DP ball, but it's not like he knocked the snot out of it. It was about the 5th most impressive play Blum has made this game.

No, the ball was scolded. I like his approach. He got a meatball on a pitch Brocail was grooving, but he just didn't hit it in the air like he should have.

Who's the white version of FatBoy for Milwaukee, #40?

Whoever he is, just 2B'd with 2 down in the b10th. Still 6-5 Mets.
