*EDIT* - Uh yeah, I'm an idiot. Even if the NL had won the ASG, we'd have HFA for the WS regardless (if make it that far), so having the best record in the NL is the only thing that really matters either way. So yeah. I'm lacking in the brain cell dept. ....... but still, just the idea of having best record in all of baseball (regardless of meaning or not) is kinda chest-puffing material.

It sounds like Karros "gets it"--if you will. He talked about how tough it is to lose 90 games; how hard it was to keep plugging away, but he made it sound like players on the Yanks and Red Sox knew how talented the Rays are. Lewin seems like he's having a hard time wrapping his brain around it.
