They should have a "losers playoffs," where the last place team in each division makes it, and then the wild card with the second-to-last team in their division with the worst record makes it.

It'd be cool if the Padres could score a run at some point...

top 7 still scoreless

 

at least Peavy has a more durable arm on him than Sheets, thats my only hope here

He's already at 100+ pitches, though. It's gonna come down to the bullpens soon.

I don't remember anything about their bullpen, but this scenario would favor SD, right?
