Marshall.

Lou makes the right move

I guess Samardjiza's starting Sunday then?

Just cause Marshall throws 1 inning here, doesnt mean he still cant start on Sunday. Hell Jeff went 2 or 3 innings the 1st game

Didnt look like Marshall worked up much of a sweat there, so Id say hes fine for Sunday if Lou gos that rout.

Has Bob talked at all this inning?

He's still watching his son play

What? He was there the first game.

I wasn't being serious.

Excellent day!

He probably is watching since they broadcast their games online. They were talking yesterday about how Bob was likely watching because of the rain out. They started scouting his son and everything.

26 games over .500 wooooooooooo wow

and more importantly approaching .500 on the road. the cubs are now 2 under on the road. i know we all have been worried about hfa for the playoffs, but if the season ends with any games over .500 on the road, i feel that we really don't need to worry about that being a factor.

What's the bullpen ERA this year? Where do the Cubs stack compared to the other teams?

The pen was getting worse around the All-Star break, but with the addition of Gaudin and Samardija, I am really confident now. If Cotts can return to 2005 form, this team has no weaknesses.

3.85 for the season, 12th in MLB, 5th in NL

ETA: that may have been before today's games as well

Highest mark over .500 since 1984.

Let's hope October ends better.

I believe I heard on SportsCenter that this was the first time the Cubs won both games of a double-header by at least 8 runs since 1908.
