Is it safe to say that the Nationals are the most pathetic team in the history of the game?

One of those Tigers teams is probably worse.

I can't believe we lost 2 to these bozos. That better not happen coming up, that's all I can say. BETTER SWEEP.

I'm more surprised that Castro, Nieves and Mock (Mock?!?!) managed to load the bases without commiting an out.

I'm sure he tried his darndest but not much you can do when you get HBP.

Weeks-Hardy-Kapler due up for the Brewers now. If anyone gets on, it's Fielder and Hart.

Yay, Weeks Ks.

If they hadn't just built a stadium, I'd predict they're gone from DC in a few years. That town has a history of failed baseball franchises.

So all this hub-bub about the Expos, and this is what it comes down to? Crappy, embarrassing baseball in the Nation's capital? Hell, they should have gone to Puerto Rico.

Don't put this game out of reach, Mock.

And amongst 40 trillion pickoff attempts to keep Kapler close, the Nats commit an error. Kapler to second.

And now Kapler to third on a WP.

And now an RBI double. 4-1 MIL.

Nieves is actually pretty good.

Nevermind was thinking of Flores.

IF single for Hart, Fielder to third.

The Nationals better lay down vs. us.

Nah, they'll save up all their minor leaguers we don't have scouting reports on and unveil them all against us

I've never seen a more pathetic display of offense. I would have been happy coming into the series if the Nats took one. They certainly had their one chance yesterday and they blew it. Screw them.

Nationals had runners on 1st and 2nd with 1 out and Pete Orr up with a 3-0 count. Orr eventually GIDP to end the inning with Zimmerman, Kearns, and Milledge due up.
