HOLY Howry./...

TOEWS AGAIN

?

that was an unremarkable goal

Um... down 2-0 (against the best team in the west, and MAYBE the NHL).... And they take the lead with 4 seconds left... Toews 2 goals in 3 minutes?

Watching goals like Toews' first one, it reminds me of watching Jordan. Clearly the best player on the ice, at least tonight. Against Detroit, that's saying something.

I really, really want Detroit in the playoffs. Ideally in the second round.

Oh absolutely. I think first-round is more likely though. 7 vs. 2.

i'm well aware how good Detroit is, but that's just a skills competition shot most skilled players can make. i'm baffled with 5 seconds the def didn't collapse on him

Alright, sorry. I'll refrain from posting excitement when a goal is scored in the final seconds to take the lead from the reigning Stanley Cup champions.

It was a great shot. The angle to make that shot is ridiculously short. The puck glanced off the keeper's shoulder. Obviously it wasn't as special as his first goal tonight, but it was above average.

do what you want, it's just odd that you had the same reaction to both goals. the first one only a handful of players in the league are capable of making, the second could have been scored by any talented forward in that spot. the Wings played it terribly

he was excited that they scored for the 3rd straight time...he wasn't excited about the skill level of the goal

The first reaction was made because of the spectacular goal. The second was just excitement of taking the lead...

We are CLEARLY the better team so far. The passing is exquisite. LADD has been great on the forecheck. Glad to see him get one.

I don't think I've ever seen that happen before. I was about to start bagging on Huet again. :flame:

Happen to us in high school, but never seen it in the NHL.

I guess you have to give credit to Huet for making a stink about it. You could have forgiven him for thinking he'd just let another one in.
