Points gotten from each other:

San Jose: 4

Chicago: 2

It could be much worse, but I'd love to say we stole points from the best teams in our conference.

As others said, I would have loved to get another two points, but we're being greedy at this point. The Hawks obviously got destroyed in the first period and to be down only 1-0 was a testament to Khabi.

As for the OT goal, Keith just had a lazy play. He failed to clear a puck at his feet and then let Thornton walk right in. Keith didn't play his best game last night, and for a guy who really needs to be our shutdown defenseman (with Campbell moving up so often), that sort of thing can't happen.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Then again, these OT losses need to stop

It does and it doesn't at least getting a point against teams like the San Jose and Detriot doesn't bother me. Losing to teams like the Bruins or Blues is getting old when we lose in shoot outs with them.

By the way is there any word what happen with Khabi when he had to get taken out in the Sharks game? Did he get hit in the nuts or like pull something I couldn't tell?

Don't think he got hit in the nuts, looked like he fell and probably pulled something (similar to the Luongo injury).

Also... am I the only one with a quarrel over afternoon hockey?

Oh I just noticed that's great...I don't mind today I'll be out of work in 15min and going to watch the Hawks game and Purdue game and drinks some beers. I'd say that's a solid Friday

why are you okay with getting one point against SJ/Detroit and not Boston? St. Louis I understand, but Boston is tied for the 2nd most points in the NHL.

I'm fine with the 1 point against the sharks and Bruins because they are out of division. Not so much the Red Wings, especially when we were up by two in the third.

FIGHT

Walker vs. Parros

Pretty decent fight... Walker started out dominating but Parros came back and made it pretty even.

Unfortunatley Parros had the advantage of having a ginormous mustache.

fix'd. that guys 'stache is legendary. if he was a better fighter and/or not a duck, he'd probably be one of my favorite players.

Seemed like the Hawks had a dozen solid scoring chances tonight. They just didn't get any bounces. Oh well. Go get 'em tomorrow.

Should be an easy W today.

Anze, will you be around?

nope. i have some stuff i have to do so i'm dvr'ing the game and watching it when i'm done.

actually should be a really good game, assuming the kings can play defense like they did against edmonton and not like they did against calgary.

They're still the Blackhawks. Nothing's easy.

The Hawks didn't play bad today, the Kings just played very well... AND... Huet sucks.
