is it really necessary to show the stupid ice girls after every goal. how about you show the players celebrating instead of cutting away to show some women who aren't even that hot

That 3rd period was a thing of beauty, especially that nearly two-minute stretch where they held the puck in Colorado's zone and peppered shots at Budaj.

I didn't see a weakness out there, outside of the occasional stupid play by Sopel. I'm warming up to him, but he still has his moments.

If this is what we're going to get under Coach Q, I'm very happy I subscribed to Center Ice this year.

But, for the guy who mentioned having a playoff series against Detroit, let's just hope it's not the first series. Cuz that would mean we're the 7th or 8th seed. Not to get greedy, but I'd like to see them a bit higher up than that.

Can you only imagine how good they'll be when Toews and Havlat decide to start playing?

EDIT: Oh yea, and Wisniewski is back?

Havlat more than Toews needs to pick it up. Toews is constantly in the middle of things. The only problem I have with him is a lack of determination when he has the puck. He just doesn't seem as forceful as he did last year.

Wiz will be a big help.

Pricing is absoultely ridiculous... I mean TO ME it's worth it, but it seems it's gonna be a bunch of upper class business men that are going for a "good time" instead of going to watch hockey.

So, it's gonna be like a Cubs game?

I kid.

Reports are out that the Hawks are trying to get Brendan Shanahan. That would be AWESOME veteran leadserhip to guide our young guys, also would help on the PP.

Also, I can't wait til the deadline nears as we could possibly pick up an awesome rental players... I will pray every night for Jason Spezza!

Blues fans and media have been talking about Shanahan for awhile now. But if the Hawks are involved, there's no way that happens. It would be a great move for the Hawks if they can afford it.

But one other thing: I heard a bit on 670 today saying "forget about Khabi to NJ." Do we know why that's off the table?

Got it. Thanks.

I don't know what's up with these five days off. How ever the Hawks play Sunday, people will either say they were rested or rusty. I just want to watch some hockey!
