It's truly amazing how fast a season can turn around, just ask Koyie Hill. Hill was batting .246 11 days ago, but after a 10-game hit streak, including six multi-hit games, he brought his batting average up 44 points to .294. Hill, a former fourth-round pick (No. 117 overall) in the 2000 Draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers has also been an RBI machine for Iowa, posting 10 in his last four games.

The Northwest League season is just over a month in, but Brenly showed once again that his consistency at the plate is no fluke. Brenly, son of former Major League manager Bob Brenly, posted multi-hit performances in three of his four games last week and boosted his team with six RBIs. In Boise's 12-4 rout of Everett Thursday, Brenly went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Brenly, who was drafted in the 36th round of this year's Draft out of UNLV, is batting .383 for the Hawks this season.
