Fred, what exactly does this stat mean?

CUBS are 1-1 when they've First game game(s) in a row

It means Fred's drunk again

I know you're just joking around, but that's really not appropriate.

Is there something I don't know? I meant nothing by it.

Sorry, pitchcs. I knew I was next in line, but I guess I forgot that you weren't able to start yesterday's thread. Best of luck to you, sir, and hopefully we have a nice comfortable lead before I take over.

It really doesn't mean anything. It's a throwaway place holder that I forgot to erase from a cut and paste operation when creating my post for today.

35 minutes to first pitch and I can't find any lineups. odd

Perhaps if you spent a little more time reading and a little less time with the one liners.......... ah never mind.

Go Fontenot.

i'm a little surprised with Fukudome at 8 but maybe he'll do well down in that spot.

Did Edmonds look okay yesterday? Considering he stayed in the game after the double, I assumed he'd be in the lineup today. I'm guessing they're just giving him an extra day off?

They probably just wanted to get Fontenot in the lineup, without having to bench DeRosa and Fukudome

he took an extra base on his pinch-hit. didn't seem to be bothering him visibly, but my guess is they're being cautious

I could be remembering incorrectly, but I thought Marquis pinch ran for him.

Oh. That would make sense then. Cautious is the name of the game.
