He was added to the 40 man when he was signed. Every guy on the 40 man is on the active roster in spring training. if they don't break camp with the major league club or on the DL, they burn an option.

What's up everybody, hope all is well.

Figured it was about time to check back in with you guys. Everything is going great out here in AZ. The season is right around the corner and I think I've set myself up pretty good to get where I want to be. Couldn't of asked for a better camp.

 

Recently I was optioned to AA camp, or as some of the media calls it "Cut" down to AA ball. Does sound a little more interesting I guess...

However this was totally in the plans and I'm happy to get down there and get my innings in. Great opportunity for me to get some work in warm weather, and get my arm where it needs to be. I think everyone who reads the blog knows what my goal is and where I want to end up. I think I'm on the right path and set up to make a good run at it.

You must be confusing me with someone else when it comes to NC State. I'm a fan of Indiana and Kentucky (strange combination, but I went to graduate school at UK after I was already an IU fan).
