How ironically NOT funny this game has went for the Chicago Cubs offense;

 

1 of the 2 hits came off a swinging bunt and all the hard hit balls have been caught. That's statistically impossible, but we're doing it tonight.

 

 

 

And that's ballgame. Even IF Howry keeps the D'bags off the board here in this inning, we'll hard hit our way to 3 outs to finish it off.

Pen is depleted. They needed someone reliable I guess to go for us. Lyon, Pena are shot.

lol maybe if he can pitch 18 innings. This is the best pitching performance by a Cub thatI can remember blown by lack of offense. Just really sad.
