And Glaus homering doesn't bother me that much - while he shouldn't be as good as he's been, at least he actually has a track record of being good before, unlike about every other player on that team prior to putting on the uniform.

I'm confused as to why the Pirates would take LaRoche out of the game at that point. Now you have the horrible Raul Chavez leading off the bottom of the 10th instead of LaRoche. He wasn't involved at all in the double switch. I have no explanation.
